Fluffiest Friends 3-Fold

YOU’RE AS SWEET AS HONEY 3-FOLD

Cased Simply Spinnato

This was another card my daughter created for June's card class. In my card classes, I like to try and incorporate either a fun fold or a new technique and this is a very easy fun fold. These little guys in the Fluffiest Friends Bundle are so cute and fun to work with.  Also, The Designer Paper we used is no longer available but the Country Woods DSP lends itself perfectly to this card.  Also I did not include a list of the Stampin' Blend colors that we used; use colors you have on hand.

HOW TO CREATE & ASSEMBLE:

  1. Adhere the piece of "DSP" to your Balmy Blue card front (5 1/2” x 8 1/2” scored at 4 1/4”). Run this through the die cut machine with the arch.
  2. On scrap of white cardstock, stamp the bear, color him, then die cut him out.
  3. Die cut grass, branch, and bee hive in the corresponding colors..
  4. To create the “3-fold”, take the white (5 1/4” x 8” scored at 4”) piece of cardstock , burnish on the score line. With the scored edge to the right, adhere this into the inside of your card.
  5. Create your scene for the bear to be seen through the archway.
  6. On a small strip of white cardstock, stamp your sentiment. Mat with strip of Peach Pie cardstock and adhere to the card front using dimensionals

Hello There

Super easy card to make and with lots of flexibility.  You can use ANY Designer Paper you have on hand, you can arrange the pieces differently to position your sentiment in different spots on the card. I opted to do mine with a portrait layout because I did it as part of a "mystery card" event but others in the group did theirs with landscape orientation and it looks great!  Have fun :0)

HELLO THERE

HOW TO CREATE AND ASSEMBLE:

  1. On your (4” x 5 1/4”) piece of white cardstock, arrange the pieces of DSP (4- 1 1/4” x 2 1/2” and 2- 1 1/4” x 1 1/4”) starting with the 2 square pieces on opposite corners.  You will have about an 1/8” border all the way around.
  2. As you arrange the pieces, leave an area open for your sentiment piece (1 1/4” x 2 1/2”)  You can decide on the orientation of your card  if you want it landscape or portrait.  You can also choose where to place the sentiment. It will go in any open space left.
  3. Stamp your sentiment on the small (1 1/4” x 2 1/2”) white piece of cardstock.  Adhere this to your card front using dimensionals. Sentiment can be anything you would like it to say.  "Happy Birthday", "Sympathy", " Thinking of You". . .
  4. Adhere this to the front of your card base. Tie a bow with your ribbon and adhere the bow using glue dot.
  5. On your other piece of white cardstock (4” x 5 1/4” ), stamp a design or another sentiment and adhere it to the inside of your card.
  6. Optional: To make your envelope coordinate, adhere a (2 1/4” x 6”) piece of DSP to the flap of the envelope and trim it with your snips.

Planted Paradise Recovery Card

 SPEEDY RECOVERY

My daughter was in town and she created this card for June's card class.  I love having her home because she likes creating cards with me.

This card is actually very easy to do however since there are no dies with this stamp set, you do have to "fussy" cut out all of the shapes.  That is the only time consuming part of making the card.  The two tones on the card and envelope are made by stamping once and then stamping again without re-inking your stamp.

HOW TO CREATE AND ASSEMBLE:

  1. Stamp on the (4 1/2” x 3 1/4”) piece of  pecan cardstock using the pecan ink to create a pattern design on the paper. Optional: do the same on the flap of your envelope to coordinate.
  2. Adhere the (2 3/4” x 5”) piece of vanilla cardstock to your card front.
  3. Adhere the pecan piece that you created on top of the vanilla piece.
  4. Stamp the sentiment on the (1” x 3 1/2”) piece of Vanilla cardstock then adhere this to your card front.
  5. On the scraps of vanilla cardstock, stamp the pot and the different leaves .  "Fussy cut" them out to create a bouquet of leaves in the pot. Arrange the leaves adhering them with the liquid glue.  Adhere the pot with dimensionals.
  6. Adhere the (4” x 5 1/4”) piece of vanilla cardstock on the inside of your card. Stamp a little leaf arrangement or additional sentiment of your choice.
  7. Adhere the dots on the flower pot.
