Thoughts from this "Blogger"

So, I am new to “blogging”.  I guess I am supposed to be sharing not only my cards but also my thoughts, a little about myself so here goes nothing.

I live in beautiful, sunny, and HOT Arizona.  When this quarantine happened, I did not mind too much because it gave me an opportunity to play a little more with my Stampin’ Up! products and in the beginning, I was even able to go out and enjoy daily walks with my dogs. Even as it started getting up to the 90’s, and 100+ temps, I did not mind because I could stay indoors.  Then I had the opportunity to do a little traveling.  After all, isn’t that what “Summer Vacation” is all about?

My family was able to travel to Jackson Hole, WY for a week of cooler weather and plenty of great food and relaxation! We hiked around Jenny Lake and up to the Falls  BREATH TAKING!  What I failed to tell you was that the trip was to meet our daughter’s future in-laws!  We could not be happier for her as they are a fun and loving family.

We also took a road trip to Vallecito Lake, CO. We enjoyed the outdoors, walking and hiking up to Lake Eileen.  I thought I would collapse getting there but I survived!  Not accustomed to that altitude.

We have been blessed not to have any incidences of COVID-19.  I had to stop by my old elementary school today and it all felt so cold with everyone wearing their masks and standing behind glass (maybe plexiglass), not able to hug or even see smiles.   I wish we could go back to normal.  I continually pray for that.

Now we are back home, I hosted a couple of card classes with some beautiful ladies and it is time to start getting ready for my August classes.  Check out the blog for my class dates if you are in the Phoenix area and let me know if you would like to attend.  I am always excited to meet new people who share the same interests as I do.  Groups are staying nice and small and I will gladly schedule extra classes if there is interest and if you have a couple of friends to bring along with you.  I promise it will be air conditioned!

I guess that’s all folks!  Be well and thank you for visiting my BLOG.
