SET SAIL IN THE DIRECTION OF YOUR DREAMS
I chose this card for multiple reasons. One is that it is graduation time, so this card is appropriate for those graduating and moving on to a new phase in life. It's equally appropriate for a retirement card. Also, though, I wanted to use this stamp set and these dies because they are retiring on May 3rd with the new incoming catalog. HOW TO:
1. Using the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, cut out three stitched squares.
2. Using Night of Navy ink stamp the sentiments and designs on each square. Adhere these to the strip of white cardstock. Set aside. (Optional: While using the stamps stamp the white cardstock for the inside of the card and your envelope to coordinate.)
3. Run the piece of Crumb Cake cardstock through the embossing machine in the Subtle 3D folder. Adhere to the card front.
4. Take your piece of baker’s twine and fold it in half. Then, in the middle of that tie a knot so that it is centered. Bring the two ends around the lower half of the smaller piece of Navy cardstock and adhere on the back side. Adhere this to your card front.
5. Take the strip of white cardstock (with the 3 stamped squares) and adhere across towards the top of the card front.
6. Adhere the larger piece of white cardstock to the inside.
