ENCHANTED BIRTHDAY

 ENCHANTED BIRTHDAY

 Cased Vicki Lou

 HOW TO CREATE & ASSEMBLE:

  1. Fold your card base ( 4 1/4” x 11”) on the score line (@5 1/2”).
  2. Ink up the line of circles in Soft Sea Foam ink and stamp a line down the left hand side as close to the edge as possible.
  3. Using the butterfly and the dotted circle image, create your own 'DSP' strip on the (2 7/8“ x 5 1/2”) of Basic White. With this stamp set you can use one stamp image to create the detail outline and then flip it over and use the reverse to stamp the solid in fill image. When “filling in”, stamp off firsts so that the inside will be lighter.
  4. Adhere the two (1/2” x 5 1/2”) strips of Mauve one on each side of this panel you just created (to create a thin border);  then adhere this to your card front as close to the strip of circles you stamped on the left.  * * You need to be sure to have enough room to stamp sentiment on the right side of card front.
  5. Stamp the sentiment centered on the far right.
  6. On your small piece of Soft Sea Foam (2 1/2” x 2 7/8”) Stamp the circle strip in Soft Sea Foam ink to cover the entire piece. Adhere this to the larger (2 5/8” x 3”) piece of Mauve cardstock
  7. On your smallest of Mauve, stamp your flower and fussy cut it out. Adhere this to the panel you just created. Then adhere this to your card front using dimensionals.
  8. Embellish the card front with gems.
  9. For the inside of your card stamp a strip of the circles and the sentiment.
  10. Stamp your envelope to coordinate.

 KIMONO GIFT CARDHOLDER

CASED: KAREN TITUS

HOW TO CREATE & ASSEMBLE:

  1. This card is actually very easy to make (especially since I have already done all the scoring and cutting.)
  2. Score an 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” piece of Designer Series Paper at 2 1/8 on each side.
  3. Fold toward the middle to make a gatefold card. (See photo below.)

  4. With the fold lined up at the 2 mark, cut 3/4 in on each side.
  5. Fold each side toward the middle. Push in these side folds. (See below.)
    .

  6. Make a collar by turning over corners at the top of the “kimono”.

  7. Use a 1x 6 strip of the same paper to create the belly band and decorate.

  8. You can decide if you want to have a writing space on the inside or a gift card holder, or a book marker. (See below.)

  9. Use a piece of coordinating DSP to adhere to the envelope flap so the it coordinates with your kimono.

Easter Bleassings

Before we get too far into this card I have to apologize because I used retired products but there are other products that you could use in lieu of the ones I chose and had on hand.  When I originally made this card at a workshop, it was a birthday card with a sentiment from Hooray for Surprises Stamp Set (162851) and the dies would have come from the Nested Essentials Dies (161597).  And for the envelope flap the Basic Borders Dies (155558). or an Easter sentiment Excellent Eggs (162801) or Easter Lilies (162783) With that being said, this fun fold could be used for any occasion.  You don’t need the retired items that I used. Like me, you use what you have.

You're in My Heart & Prayers

This card can be used as a sympathy card or a get well, loss of a job or any other reason that you might pray for someone.  It is simple and elegant.  I intentionally did not stamp a sentiment on the inside so that the card maker could make it more personal for their own use. I also loved this color pairing with the two grays and the fresh freesia
