Grateful for You Diagonal Joy Fun Fold card

We don't get the fun Fall colors her in Phoenix so its fun to play with colors on the cards and let our imaginations soar.

DIAGONAL JOY FUN FOLD GRATEFUL FOR YOU

cased from Sherry Roth

 HOW TO ASSEMBLE:

  1. Start with your card base (5 1/2” x 8 1/2” scored at 4 1/4”) Cut diagonally from top score line to lower rt. corner.  (This has been done for you.)
  2. Ink the leaf in the color of choice however, if you would like multiple colored leaf, ink the stamp in Crushed Curry then, using the daubers, dip them in their corresponding ink colors and dab ink on the stamp.  Be sure not to mix daubers in different color inks! Huff on the stamp then stamp on one of the pieces of white cardstock.  (Optional: Repeat on envelope.)
  3. (Optional) Using the color dauber of your choice, destress the edges of your image.  Then, using your snips, scrape on the edges carefully as to not rip but to give it a sightly rough edge. Adhere this to the piece of Mossy Meadow Cardstock.
  4. Take your piece of linen thread and wrap it around this two times and tie a knot. Let long pieces hang as you will be tying again.
  5. Run scraps of whichever color cardstock you like, through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with little leave dies. Using the tiny hole punch, punch a little hole in each leaf and run the end of the linen thread through then tie a bow (your favorite thing to do!) Set aside for a minute.
  6. Run both pieces of Curry Cardstock through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine in the Fall Leaf folder.  (* * When running the triangular piece through pay attention to its direction.)
  7. You may need to trim the curry triangle before adhering to the mossy triangle so check before adhering.  Then adhere this to the front diagonal flap of your card.

  8. Take the 3 1/8” x 8” piece of Cajun Craze cardstock and fold on the score line.  On the front, adhere the matted stamped image.
  9. On the other piece of white cardstock stamp a sentiment or leave blank to write your personal message.  Destress around the edges and adhere to the additional piece of Mossy Meadow Cardstock. Adhere this to the inside of this small card.
  10. Adhere this centered to the inside of your card allowing the fall to close over the diagonal gap of the card.
