Begonia Belle FunFold

BEGONIA BELLE FUNFOLD

HOW TO CREATE & ASSEMBLE:

Fold the card base (4 1/4” x 7 3/4” scored @ 2 1/4”) and burnish at the score line. Adhere the corresponding (4” x 2”) piece of Peach cardstock to the flap then adhere the corresponding (3 3/4” x 1 3/4”) piece of DSP.
On the inside of the card, adhere the (4” x 5 1/4”) piece of Peach cardstock. Set card aside.
Take the (4 1/2” x 2”) piece of Green cardstock and adhere the corresponding ( 4” x 1 3/4”) piece of Peach cardstock and then adhere the corresponding (3 3/4” x 2 1/2”) piece DSP.
Take the (2 1/4” x 4”) piece of Green cardstock and adhere the (2” x 3 3/4”) piece of Peach cardstock and then the (1 3/4” x 3 1/2”) piece of Fresh Freesia.
Take your card base folded then grab the green piece from Step #3 line it up along the bottom (landscape). Now lay the piece from Step #4 between the two up and down. Slide it to the left and adhere it to the top fold and the bottom piece.
Now lay the (3 1/8” x 4 3/8”) piece of white cardstock centered on the inside of. Your card so that you can line up where you will stamp. The sentiment should show through the opening. Then adhere this piece to the inside of your card. Make sure not to get adhesive on the middle or it will glue your card shut.
Adhere the small strip of DS”P to the bottom of the white cardstock.
On your smaller piece of white cardstock stamp your begonia and leaf 2 step process:

Start by using the stamp #1 first with “ full strength” of the color
Stamp with the #2 however stamp off first then stamp the inside

Fussy cut out the flower and leaf.
Adhere the 2” circle on the front. Since it is sightly wider the the rectangle, make sure not to use glue in the piece that hang over.
Using Dimensionals® adhere the flower and leaf centered on the circle.
For your envelope, stamp the flower on the flap. (Optional).

This stamp set is sooo stinking' cute! Unfortunately it is no longer available as it was a special Product of the Month for the month of June. Hopefully the company will take notice of how well it was received and maybe bring it back as a part of a catalog or online exclusive. The gals in class had so much fun coloring in these little guys and adding their own personalities to the cards. I hope. you have just as much fun as we all did. And Thanks to Stacey Marsh for the idea.

WILD BUNCH OF NOTECARDS

HOW TO CREATE & ASSEMBLE:

On a strip of white cardstock, stamp each of the animals once. (If you have a preference for one animal over another feel free to use whichever animals you like best) Color them in with the Stampin’ Blends.
Fussy cut each animal out. Set them aside. If you're not about to fussy cut these little guys you could stamp them to the notecard but the Stampin' Blends tend to bleed through so if you don't want to fussy cut them out get another (3 3/8" x 4 7/8") piece of white cardstock, create the design you want for the front of your card and then adhere it to the front of your cards with or without Stampin' Dimensionals®.
Each card will have a different animal and a different sentiment. However, you do not have to follow my lead. If you decide that you want to create a set of 4 identical cards go for it!
I used the journaling pen to draw the lines around the cards.
I made each envelope coordinate but as always this step is optional.
Everything is really self explanatory but on the Penguin Thank you card I used the aqua painter. I put a drop of the orange ink refill on a block, Dipped the tip of the aqua painter in it then tapped the painter on my finger ( or on a Stampin’ Blend) to create the splatter look.
All animals were adhered on to their card with Stampin Dimensionals.®

You're on My Mind

When you go to make this car on your own, you start with two 6" x 6" coordinating pieces of DSP (or Vellum in this case). Place a mark 1 1/2" down from all four corners. Then cut across to the opposite sides "diagonally" from your marks so that you end up with 4 pieces (all the same) Use one piece from each of the 2 different DSPs to create your personal cards and use whatever sentiment you would like. I created one for an anniversary card and I changed the orientation of my card.

HOW TO CREATE & ASSEMBLE:

Adhere the two pieces of vellum to one of the (4” x 5 1/4”) white pieces of cardstock as shown
Cut the pieces of linen thread to line along the edges of the vellum using liquid glue Set aside
On a small piece of white cardstock, stamp the sentiment for your card front then die cut it out.
With the same die, die cut out a piece of Fresh Freesia. Cut it in half lengthwise and adhere it to the sentiment piece as on my card creating a “matted” look. Adhere this to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals®. Adhere a linen bow to it.
Die cut out to leaf stems and adhere to the card front.
Embellish the card front with a couple of sequin.
Stamp sentiment and design on the other piece of white cardstock and adhere to the inside of the card.
Stamp the design on the envelope
