With Deepest Sympathy

 

With this year coming to an end, I understand it is sad to end with a sympathy card however I had some friends who asked to me make some.  It has been a tough year and some of us needed to send these out.  

I pray that 2021 brings us a better year with a cure to Covid.

 With Deepest Sympathy

DIRECTIONS:

    1.    Run the piece of Cinnamon Cider Cardstock through the embosser in the Tasteful Textiles folder.  Adhere this to the larger piece of Early Espresso cardstock. Then adhere to card front.

    2.   On the smallest piece of Very Vanilla cardstock stamp sentiment in Early Espresso.  Using a sponge dauber go around edges also in Early Espresso to give the distressed look. Set aside.

    3.   On the next piece of vanilla cardstock stamp the tree in Cinnamon Cider and distress this with the Cinnamon Cider. (Stamp envelope with tree to coordinate.  (optional)) Adhere this to the smaller piece of Early Espresso cardstock.

    4.   Wrap the ribbon around the brown and tie a knot. Adhere to the left side of the card front.

    5.    Adhere the sentiment square off setting it to the right.

    6.   Stamp an additional sentiment inside if you would like to.

Snowflake Gift Card Holder

DIRECTIONS:

     1.    Score a 5” x 7 ¾” piece of cardstock at 2 ½” and 6”. And for the belly band, score a 1 ½” x 7 ¾” piece of coordinating cardstock at 2 ½” and 6 1/8”.

     2.   Adhere the pieces of DSP (4 ¾” x 2 ¼” and 4 ¾” x 1 ½”) on the two opposite ends of the cardstock.

     3.   Using the circle punch, punch out a half circle (a little less).

     4.   Stamp the “To and From” Sentiment on the left side of the white cardstock.  Adhere this on the inside of the smaller flap.

     5.    Fold at the score lines and brandish with your bone folder.

     6.   On the larger flap (the one with the ½ circle punch) put adhesive only along the underside of the two edges and adhere loosely so that a gift card will fit in the pocket you form.

     7.   On the squares of DSP punch out three different snowflakes.  Set aside.

     8.   Grab the piece of cardstock for the belly band and brandish on the score lines.  Adhere the flaps.

     9.   Adhere the snowflakes one on top of the other over the seam where the ends of the belly band is adhered. Slide it over the pocket and voilá.
