Super easy card to make and with lots of flexibility. You can use ANY Designer Paper you have on hand, you can arrange the pieces differently to position your sentiment in different spots on the card. I opted to do mine with a portrait layout because I did it as part of a "mystery card" event but others in the group did theirs with landscape orientation and it looks great! Have fun :0)
HELLO THERE
HOW TO CREATE AND ASSEMBLE:
- On your (4” x 5 1/4”) piece of white cardstock, arrange the pieces of DSP (4- 1 1/4” x 2 1/2” and 2- 1 1/4” x 1 1/4”) starting with the 2 square pieces on opposite corners. You will have about an 1/8” border all the way around.
- As you arrange the pieces, leave an area open for your sentiment piece (1 1/4” x 2 1/2”) You can decide on the orientation of your card if you want it landscape or portrait. You can also choose where to place the sentiment. It will go in any open space left.
- Stamp your sentiment on the small (1 1/4” x 2 1/2”) white piece of cardstock. Adhere this to your card front using dimensionals. Sentiment can be anything you would like it to say. "Happy Birthday", "Sympathy", " Thinking of You". . .
- Adhere this to the front of your card base. Tie a bow with your ribbon and adhere the bow using glue dot.
- On your other piece of white cardstock (4” x 5 1/4” ), stamp a design or another sentiment and adhere it to the inside of your card.
- Optional: To make your envelope coordinate, adhere a (2 1/4” x 6”) piece of DSP to the flap of the envelope and trim it with your snips.
