HOW TO CREATE AND ASSEMBLE:

1. Take your card base (4 1/4” x 11” scored at 5 1/2”) and fold and burnish on the score line.
2. Adhere three different (1 1/4”x 5”) strips of DSP to a (4” x 5 1/4”) piece of Basic White cardstock. Adhere this to the card front using dimensionals. (Portrait orientation)
3. Take the other strip of coordinating DSP” (1” x 31/2”) trimming one end to look like a banner.  Adhere to card front lower right.
4. Run the sentiment dies through the die cutting machine, the larger one on Lost Lagoon cardstock and the smaller one on Petal Pink cardstock. Adhere them together with the liquid glue then adhere to the card front.
5. Stamp the butterfly on a scrap of white cardstock then color it in with Stampin’ Blends and fussy cut it out.  (Optional) Add a little wink of Stella. Adhere to the card front using dimensionals. 
6. Embellish the card front with a couple of gems.  If you would like them to be colored, gently use the Stampin’ Blends to color them the color you would like before adhering.
7. On the second piece of white cardstock (5 1/4” x 4”) adhere the skinny strip of DSP along the bottom and then adhere the cardstock into the inside of your card.
8. (Optional) If you would like your envelope to coordinate, there is an extra strip of DSP that you can adhere to the left front edge of your. Envelope.  I highly recommend that you use the multipurpose liquid glue for this.

Pansy Patch Happy Birthday

This stamp set was given to me and I had a really tough time trying to assemble the pansies and to stamp them multicolored. I will have to play with the set a little more to see if I can master this set. Anyhow this is what I created for now.

HOW TO CREATE & ASSEMBLE:

1. Run the Heather  and the white (5 1/2” x 4 1/4”) piece of cardstock through the die cut machine with the larger scalloped die.  Stamp the birthday sentiment on the white piece and pansies if you would like. Set aside.
2. Run the there piece of white cardstock through the embossing machine with the next size scalloped die. Stamp the sentiment on this in the upper right hand corner. Set aside.
3. Run the scraps of cardstock through the machine to build your flowers & leaves.  
4. Run the small piece of white cardstock through with the crisscross pattern die (from milkshake dies)
5. Build your floral scene on the white cardstock from step II 
6. Wrap ribbon around the lower half of this piece, adhering in the back.
7. Add a bow u sing mini glue dot.
8. Adhere this piece to the heather scalloped piece then adhere it all to your card front using dimensionals.
9. Stamp your envelope to coordinate.

Hope Anchors the Soul

So I have to admit, When I first made this card, i used an embossing folder that was not a Stampin' Up! folder because I had not received my new Elegant Eucalyptus 3D embossing folder and I needed to get the card completed. I also used retired cardstock that was black and white.  The only current Designer Series Paper that has black and white is the Zoo Crew paper. This is a very simply stated card.

HOPE ANCHORS THE SOUL

HOW TO CREATE AND ASSEMBLE: 

1. Run the front of your card base through the embossing machine using the Elegant Eucalyptus 3D embossing folder, centered on your card.  
2. Run the envelope through using the same embossing folder on the flap to coordinate with your card.
3. Take the small (4” x 2 1/2”) piece of white cardstock and stamp your sentiment. Then, run it through the die cut machine using the smallest deckled rectangle die. Set aside.
4. Run the DSP (4 3/8” x 2 3/4”) through using the next size up deckled rectangle and then the Coastal Cabana cardstock (4 1/2” x 3 1/8”) with the next size up decked rectangle. (In the set of dies starting from the smallest, its the 4th size up to the 6th size.) 
5. Layer the  stamped image on the DSP rectangle then adhere this onto the Coastal Cabana rectangle. Adhere this to your card front using dimensionals.
6. Stamp a dove on a scrap of white cardstock then adhere to card front also with a dimensional. Embellish with pearl jewels.
