It's Your Day with Adorable Owls

The fun thing about this card is that you could do it with the Elephant Parade or the Birthday Piggies Stamp set and more! You can add a belly band or maybe ribbon or nothing like I did. BUT!! This stamp cannot be purchased, you have until the 28th of this month to get it for free with a $50 order.  Last 3 days of SALE-A-BRATION!!

IT’S YOUR DAY ADORABLE OWLS

HOW TO CREATE/ASSEMBLE:

  1. Using your bone folder, fold in both sides of your card base and brandish. Because the card will have the tendency to want to stay open it is important that you brandish the edges well. Set aside
  2. Adhere your DSP strips to the strips of Freesia cardstock.  Adhere these to the front flaps of your card base. Set aside. (Sorry I happened to pick a Designer paper that has already been retired.)
  3. Stamp sentiment for the inside of your card on the 4” x 5 1/4” piece of white cardstock. Adhere to the inside of your card.  Set side.
  4. On the other piece(s) of white cardstock, stamp all three of the owls  and two balloons (connected at the bottom) in Tuxedo black. Color these with the Stampin’ Blends. (Optional) Stamp the envelope if you would like it to coordinate with your card.  If you are going to color in the owl on the envelope, slide a piece of paper in the envelope so that the ink will not bleed through to the back of the envelope. (The elephant Parade Stop set is not necessary, I used it for its balloons and you can free hand those just as easily.)
  5. Using your snips, fussy cut out all three of the owls and the balloons (keeping them attached at the bottom. With a scrap of the leftover white stamp the smaller sentiment and cut it to fit on the card as a banner.
  6. You will arrange these in whatever order you want on the front of your card making sure to ONLY use adhesive on the piece of the owl that will be attached to the card.   I chose to alternate the sides I adhered the owls to.  You can adhere all three on the same side.

Courage, You've Got This

 COURAGE . . . YOU’VE GOT THIS

HOW TO CREATE/ASSEMBLE:

  1. Place your piece of DSP on the Stamparatus® and stamp the sentiment in the center. Adhere this to the piece of Mossy Meadow Cardstock.
  2. Adhere this to your card front. Embellish with the rhinestones and butterflies.
  3. Stamp your sentiment and flower on the piece of white cardstock.  Adhere this to the inside of your card. Since I did not have the Dainty Delight Stamp Set to coordinate with my card, I found that the Sending Smiles Stamp Networked beautifully with this.
  4. (Optional) While stamping your flower, stamp one on the front of your envelope to coordinate with your card.
