Less Trickin' More Treatin'

With Halloween just around the corner, a friend asked me if I could make some Halloween cards.  I hadn't planned on it because I hadn't invested in the Halloween stamp sets but then realized that I could make them with what I had.  ( I did have to borrow the Frightfully Cute Bundle from a friend) Here's my first.  What I really like about this one is that the Pretty Pumpkins stamp set lends itself to both Halloween AND Fall cards.  Using the Banner Year stamp set then allowed for me to turn the pumpkins into jack-o-lanterns  and the Banner Year is good for all kinds of holidays.  Have fun!

LESS TRICKIN’ MORE TREATIN’

HOW TO ASSEMBLE:

     1.     Adhere the piece of Smoky Slate cardstock to your card front.

     2.    Adhere the piece of Halloween DSP onto the card front. Set cad base aside.

     3.   On your larger white cardstock stamp the pumpkin trio in black then color with Stampin’ Blends. When done run through die cut machine. Adhere using mini Dimensionals to lower center of the card front.

     4.   Run the other piece of white cardstock through die cut machine with the sentiment frame.  Stamp sentiment and add some tiny pumpkins. Adhere using dimensionals to top right of card front.

     5.    Run the piece of black cardstock through the die cut machine with the spider web die.  Adhere to top left of the card front.

     6.    Stamp the little spider coming down from the web.  Glue a piece of the black twine over the line of the spider.

     7.    Using the black Stampin’ blend, color your two pearl jewels.  Allow them to dry then adhere on the spider.

     8.    Run the glitter paper through die cut machine with witch’s hat.  Adhere this to whichever pumpkin you would like.

     9.    Stamp sentiment inside.

     10.  To coordinate the envelope, adhere extra piece of DSP to envelope flap and trim.
