NOTE PAD COVER & MATCHING PEN
Cased Mail Something Pretty
HOW TO CREATE & ASSEMBLE:
- Score your piece of cardstock at 5 3/8” and 5 5/8”. Fold and Burnish. Set aside.
- Paying attention to the direction of the print on your DSP, make a slight diagonal cut across starting from the upper right side at @ 1” - 2” to the left @ 3” - 4”. (This has already been done for you.)
- Select a piece of coordinating cardstock (or DSP”) and cut 2( 1/4”) strips and adhere them to the piece of DSP where you you just cut. Trim off the excess.
- Adhere these to the scored piece of cardstock leaving strip between the two pieces to stamp your sentiment. (If you would prefer, set the DSP down and draw the lines in pencil so you know where to stamp before adhering,
- Stamp the sentiment in Versamark and emboss with white embossing powder and the heat tool.
- Out of the scraps of cardstock, die cut some flowers & leaves (or whatever you choose)Adhere these to the front of your notepad cover.
- For the inside, take the 5” x 2” piece of DSP (Use whatever side you want) to cover the notepad banner adhering to the front and folding it over and adhering on the back as well.
- Using Tear and Tape adhere the notepad into the inside of your cardstock.
- For the pen, roll the smallest piece of DSP as if you are rolling up a joint (for lack of a better example).
- Unscrew the back end of the pen and remove the pen. Slide the rolled DSP into the pen casing; making sure to slide it all the way in.
- Return the pen and screw the back end back on and now you have a pen that coordinates with your notepad. :0)
