DECORATIVE MASKS MISS YOU

I fell in love with these masks.  Of course color choices are yours as well as the choice to emboss or not. Play with them create something totally you.

MISS YOU

HOW TO CREATE & ASSEMBLE:

  1. For starters, know that you will be working with 4 different masks to create your floral designs so you want to select the colors you are going to work with and multiple blending brushes.  I selected 6 colors.
  2. Also know that the masks are numbered but you don’t necessarily have to do your inking in that order.  There is a notch in the top left hand corner of each mask.  When you lie your first one down, you may want to mark the spot on you work surface so that you can then be sure to line up the resin the right spot.
  3. With that in mind. . .Start with your white (5” x 3 3/4”) cardstock and secure it into place on your work surface with wash tape. Set down your first mat over your cardstock. (Mark the notch spot) Starting with mat #1 (the flowers), Blend first with your lighter ink color.  In our case, the color is Crushed Curry and if you want you flower to be multi-colored, then add your other colors using a clean blending brush for each new color.
  4. While doing this, if you want to add a flower to the inside of your card or to your envelope so that it will coordinate you may want to do it at this time while you have each ink color out.
  5. Repeat the mat placement and color blending with the next 3 mats.  Lining up the notch and always starting with the lighter color. When finished, please clean the mats.
  6. Run your floral piece through the embossing machine in the in the Exposed Brick 3-D Embossing Folder to give the page texture.  This step is NOT necessary.  Adhere this to the piece of Espresso cardstock (5 1/4” x 4”)
  7. Take your wavy ribbon and wrap it around this piece on the left side adhering it in the back, then adhering this to the front of your card base using dimensionals.
  8. On your small scrap of crushed curry cardstock, stamp your sentiment and run it through die cutting machine with the small oval die. Adhere to your card front using dimensionals. Embellish with in color dots.
  9. For the inside, stamp your sentiment on the other piece of white cardstock. Adhere this piece to the other piece of espresso cardstock and adhere to the inside of your card.
