HOW TO ASSEMBLE: (Steps 1-3 have been done for you.)
1. Start with a card base that measures 8 ¼” x 5 ½”.
2. On the 8 ¼” side, score at 1”, 2”, 3”, 5 ¼”, 6 ¼”, and 7 ¼”.
3. Turning your card base to the 5 ½” side make a cut from the top score line to the third score line and from the 4th score line to the last score line at 1”, 2”, 3 1/3”, and 4 ½”. (See design below by Mary Deatherage)
4. (*You can do step #10 first, your choice)-Adhere your strip of basic white cardstock (2 1/8” x 5 3/8”) down the middle of the card. This will be the writing area for your card. (Back of your card)
5. Adhere the strips of DSP on the strips of cardstock. You can choose which side of the DSP you prefer on each.
6. Adhere the two shorter strips, one on the top and one on the bottom front of your card base.
7. Adhere the 4 larger strips to the opposite ends of the card. Two on the front and two on the back.
8. Tun both the white and cinnamon cider cardstocks through the die cut machine with the corresponding dies. Stamp the sentiment.
9. Adhere sentiment piece on the cinnamon die then adhere this to the center front of your card. Add the bow.
10. Make your folds according to the design below. (illustration by Mary Deatherage)
11. (Optional) Add a strip of DSP to the flap of your envelope and run through die cut machine to coordinate.
