FRIENDS ARE LIKE SEASHELLS
HOW TO ASSEMBLE:
1. Run
the piece of Bermuda Bay Cardstock through the embossing machine in the
Seashells 3D folder. Adhere to the card
front.
2. Run the Petal Pink and the small Crumb Cake cardstocks through the embossing machine using the two stitched rectangle dies.
3. Stamp the sentiment in Crumb Cake on the top of the Crumb Cake rectangle. Adhere to the piece of Petal Pink. Adhere this to the card front using dimensionals.
4. With scraps of Granny Apple Green cardstock, stamp then die cut some “seaweeds”. Set aside.
5. Run the square piece of Crumb Cake cardstock through the embossing machine first in the seashell folder making sure to get the two larger shells. (The piece is not big enough for the entire image because we don’t need it.)
6. Tun this same piece of cardstock through using the die making sure to align the images. Finish cutting the shells by fussy cutting.
7. Use the sponge daubers and Crumb Cake ink (on one) and Blushing Bride (on the other), rub on the image to give some color contrast.
8. Position
these and the pieces of seaweed and the linen thread on the bottom of the card
and adhere.
9. For the inside sentiment (optional) I used a piece of washi tape to cover the words “you are”, I inked the stamp, removed the washi tape, and then stamped the image inside. I also chose to stamp a little starfish on the inside.
10. Optional Create with stamps a little shell scene on your envelope to coordinate.
