Happy Mother's Day

 HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY

With Mother’s Day just around the corner I couldn’t miss out on the opportunity to wish these beautiful women in our lives a Happy Mother’s Day.  The card was not my idea, but I had it filed and I’m not sure where I saw the idea.

HOW TO:

     1.     Adhere the piece of black cardstock to the card front.

     2.    Line up each of your three white pieces of cardstock according to the template on the Stamparatus.  Use the magnet to hold them in place and stamp down in black ink.

     3.   If you would like to coordinate your envelope, clean stamp and then use a sticky note to cover the “Patch of poppies” and ink the single standing poppy. Remove sticky note and stamp your envelope.

     4.   Using your Stampin’ Write Markers, color in your poppies.

     5.    (optional) Using the sponge dauber and Blushing Bride ink pad, “de-stress” around the edges of the rectangles.  It is not necessary to use a lot of ink.  Easy does it.

     6.    Adhere these to the corresponding Blushing Bride pieces of cardstock.

     7.     Adhere these together ensuring that your design is properly lined up.

     8.     Adhere this to the card front using dimensionals and leaving enough spacing to adhere the sentiment strip.

     9.    Punch one end of the small strip of white cardstock and then stamp your sentiment in black. Adhere to the lower part of your card.

     10.  Stamp additional sentiment to inside of card.
