Sprit of The Season Llama Fun Fold

 HAPPY DECEMBER! 

I found this card on JilliBling .com and I HAD to do it.  I can't wait to turn this card on its side and use the precious dachshund for a card.  Way too cute!  I have a mini dachshund at home. 

Not included on my list of supplies is the Designer Series Paper used for the "scarf" I didn't find any that were current that had a fun plaid design so I found an older one.  Just use what you have on hand. 

SPIRIT OF THE SEASON



HOW TO CREATE & ASSEMBLE:

  1. Fold your card base (4 1/4” x 7” scored at 5 1/2”) Adhere piece of DSP to fold.  Set aside.
  2. On the small ( 1 1/2” x 4 1/4”) piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock and adhere the other small strip of DSP.  Set aside. 
  3. Take your small ( 1 3/4” x 4”) piece of white cardstock and run it through with the birchwood embossing folder.  Adhere it to the other (2” 4 1/4”) piece of mossy cardstock. Set aside.
  4. Stamp two llama heads.  And two scarves on white cardstock,  Color the faces and fussy cut them out. No need to cut out the scarf part until you adhere the next piece stamped on the red DSP.Set aside.
  5. On the red plaid DSP, stamp two of the scarves and the stripes the rest of the way down the length of the DSP.
  6. Stamp two “holly leafs” color and fussy cut out.  For the holly on the front cover add the gems for the berries..  The inside one does not get gems.
  7. Die cut out some branches in Mossy Meadow.  Set aside.  
  8. Line up your interior white piece of cardstock so you know where to stamp the two inside sentiments. Stamp the sentiments.
  1. Now that you have all of the pieces, start assembling. 
    1. Adhere the sentiment to the inside of your card. (Easy peasy)
    2. Take the two scarves Stamped on DSP , adhere to the ones on white cardstock then fussy cut. Adhere it to the neck s of your llamas.
    3. Adhere your llama head using dimensionals to the white embossed piece from step 3.  Add the holly with the embellished berries to the side of the scarf. 
    4. Take the strip (step 2) lay it across the bottom of your card to line it up but DO NOT adhere it down.
    5. Lay the piece with the llama and adhere it to the top and bottom, bridging the top fold of your card to the bottom piece.
    6. Add in some leaves here and there.
    7. Trim  the looong neck scarf. Open your card then line up the long scarf to go from the sentiment on the bottom up to the inside of the front flap.adhere it in.  Now adhere your second llama head that you have trimmed out wit the scarf piece.  Add your holly.
  2. For your envelope, stamp Merry Christmas on the flap with a holly on each side.  Color in the holly.
