CELEBRATE YOUR BIRTHDAY
HOW TO CREATE & ASSEMBLE:
- Take the two strips of coordinating cardstock and adhere each one along the length of the white strip of cardstock so that approximately 1/8” shows as a “border” the length of the white cardstock.
- Lay this diagonally across the DSP. The lower side on the left higher side on the right on the piece of DSP. Adhere it down and trim off excess. ( It looks like you have a banner going across. Your paper.)
- Adhere this to the card front. Set aside.
- On the square piece of white cardstock, you will be die cutting out the circle, and you will be stamping the birthday candles the flower, the leaves, and the cake stand.
- The cake stand will be stamped in Versamark, then use the silver embossing powder, and heat with the heat tool.
- After stamping all of these images, die cut them out. Set aside for a moment.
- On the small piece of crumb cake cardstock stamp the “speckles” then die cut out the “shape” of the cake and die cut out the frosting & strips for the cake in early espresso.
- Create the cake on the circle die. Lay it on your card where you would like to position it so that you leave enough space to stamp the sentiment.
- Adhere the circle with the birthday cake to the front using Dimensionals®
- Tie and attach a bow to the front of your card. I opted to attach it to the cake tray; you can place yours wherever you would like.
- On your remaining piece (4” x 5 1/4”) of white cardstock, stamp your sentiment then adhere it to the inside of your card.
- Adhere the small strip of DSP along the bottom of this white piece of paper.
- Adhere the (2 1/4” x 6” ) strip of DSP to your envelope flap and trim off the excess.
