Emboss Resist Thank You For your Kindness

                    THANK YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS

Using Emboss Resist Technique

CASED Lorri Heiling

HOW TO CREATE AND ASSEMBLE:

  1. First you need to decide which side of your DSP you want to use on your card front to determine the direction of the cut. Trim down your piece of DSP to 5 1/4” x 4”. Adhere it to your card front. Set aside.
  2. Stamp sentiment in Petal Pink  then run through die cut machine with stitched rectangle. Set aside.
  3. Rub the (2 3/8” x 3 5/8”) piece of Basic White cardstock with the Embossing Buddy, (AND your envelope front if you want to coordinate) stamp the flower image using Versamark ink and cover with white embossing powder; shaking off excess.
  4. Using heat tool, emboss the design. You’ll know it is ready because it will be a shiny white.
  5. Now, taking either your sponge daubers or blending brushes, blend Petal Pink and Flirty Flamingo inks on your design. Start inking off the page then move on to paper using circular motion until you achieve the look you’re going for.
  6. When done, adhere this to the (2 1/2” x 3 3/4”) piece of Petal Pin cardstock.  Using Dimensionals, adhere this vertically centered to the left side of your card front. Adhere the sentiment using the glue on the part that will stick to image but dimensional to the back side that attaches to card.
  7. Tie a bow with your ribbon and using a glue dot, adhere it to your card.
  8. I also adhere the leftover piece of DSP to my envelope flap.
