HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

 For those of you who no longer have a father to send a Father's Day card to but who have a husband, the father of your children, here's a card for you.

Who said you cant use retired products?? I say GO FOR IT!

If you haven't had the opportunity to purchase any of the current stamp sets with Father's Day sentiments, do as I did and dig through your retired products.  Most of the products used on this card are retired except the the Very Vanilla cardstock and envelope, and the Misty Moonlight cardstock and ink.  I pulled out the Handsomely Suited Stamp set, the Every Day label Punch, Burlap ribbon, and designer series paper all of which are retired.   I do have some of these items available for sale if you are interested. 

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY HUSBAND

1. I started with the Misty Moonlight cardstock cut to the standard 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4" for the card base.
2. then cut three pieces of coordinating Designer Series paper. (2-3/4" x 3-3/4, 2-1/4" x 3-3/4", and 1" x 3-3/4").  Adhere them centered on your card front. place the two larger pieces touching and then the 1" piece as a strip across where the other two meet.
3. Stamp the sentiment on  piece of Very Vanilla cardstock then punch out with the Everyday Label punch. 
4. Take a 5" piece of the burlap ribbon, fold it in half and adhere to the card.
5. Slightly overlapping your folded ribbon using dimensionals, adhere the sentiment.
6. For the inside I adhered a piece of Vanilla cardstock (5-1/4" x 4")
7. To make the envelope coordinate, I adhered matching Designer Series Paper to the flap and trimmed it out.
