HOW TO CREATE/ASSEMBLE: (Please note that you don’t have to do it in this order but it worked for me)
- Fold and burnish your card base (11"x 4-1/4" scored at 2-3/4" and 5-1/2"). This will be a Z-fold.
- Take the 5-1/4” x 4”and 4” x 2-1/2” pieces of Balmy Blue cardstock and run them through the emboss machine in an embossing folder to give them texture. Adhere the larger one to the inside of your card and the smaller piece to the front left flap. Set aside.
- While. You have your embossing folder out, run the flap of your envelope through as well so that it will coordinate with your card.
- Next we’ll work with the two pieces of white 4” x 3-1/4” cardstock. On one, simply stamp image in bottom right corner in Pebbled Path. Adhere it to the 4-1/4” x 3-1/2” piece of Pebbled Path cardstock. Set aside.
- On the other white piece we are created our own Designer paper so randomly stamp around the paper using different ink colors keeping in mind that you don’t have to cover the entire piece as only the edges all the way around will be seen. I then chose to use a dauber and lightly ink the background so it wasn’t so stark white. This is optional. Adhere this to the other piece of Pebbled Path cardstock. Set aside.
- Take the 3-1/4” x 2-1/2” piece of white cardstock and stamp with the wave.
- To do this, I used the ink colors I wanted to use and starting with the lightest color and using a dauber, I inked up the stamp. Please be careful not to stick the daubers in the wrong ink colors.
- Leaving the stamp face up, carefully place the piece of white cardstock o top of the inked surface and gently press down making sure to work your way all the way around the paper, then carefully lift it up.
- Adhere this to the 3-1/2” x 2-3/4” piece of blue cardstock. Adhere this centered on your piece from step 5. Set aside.
- On your last scrap of white cardstock, stamp the sentiment and die cut it out. Then stamp a shell and die cut it as well.
- Now comes the assembling. You should already have the card burnished and the two embossed pieces of blue cardstock adhered to the card. Now take the two pieces of Pebbled cardstock that have the white stamped cardstock adhered to them that you set aside in steps 4 and 7. You will want the one from step 4 for the inside of the card. Set it down centered on the inside but do not adhere yet. With the card folded set the other one (step7) on the flap overlaying the one on the inside to make sure it covers the inside one. When you have those centered just right, adhere them down.
- Finally adhere your sentiment and sell with Dimensionals.
