OUCH!!

I know that this stamp set is retired but until something else similar to this one comes along, I refuse to part with it.  It is such a perfect stamp set to make cards for those who have been hurt or had surgery.  It just so happens that a friend of mine had surgery recently so I wanted to make a card for her.  I L-O-V-E this stamp set!

OUCH!

HOW TO MAKE/ASSEMBLE:

  1. Die cut a piece of Old Olive cardstock (5 1/4” x 4”) using the largest of the Deckled Rectangle dies. Adhere to card front.
  2. Using the next size down on the Deckled Rectangle Dies, die cut a (4 7/8” x 3 1/2”) piece of white cards stock.
  3. Stamp the sloth in Memento Black. Stamp another sloth on a piece of masking paper and fussy cut him out.
  4. Put the cut out sloth on top of the stamped one on the card then, using a dauber or blending brush and your Old Olive ink pad, blend around the sloth.  When you are happy with how it looks, remove the masking paper.
  5. Using your Stampin’ Blends, color the sloth. Adhere to the card front.
  6. On scraps of cardstock, stamp sentiments and fussy cut out and adhere to card front using dimensional.
  7. Stamp any additional sentiment on the inside of your card.
  8. (Optional) Adhere a  (2 1/4” x 5 3/4”) piece of old Olive DSP to the flap of your envelope and trim around.
