FUN FOLD BIRTHDAY CARD

I have to extend an apology to whomever I got the idea for this fold from.  I follow so many people and this fold is easy to do and done by many.  Possibly Lisa Flemming? I cannot take credit for the idea for the fold however I played wit,h the idea and came up with this. Be careful when you adhere the "bridge" to make sure it lays flat.

BRIDGE FUN FOLD BIRTHDAY CARD

HOW TO ASSEMBLE YOUR CARD

     1.    Base is 8’ x 4 ¼” scored at 1 ¼”, 2 ½”, 5 ½”, 6 ¾”.  Fold the two “outer” sections in accordion style.

     2.   Adhere your pieces of DSP to the first, third, and 5th. (If there is a pattern to your paper, paying attention to place them in the correct order.)

     3.   Stamp the sentiment in black on the center section.

     4.   On your white cardstock, stamp two flowers and two stems then run them through the die cut machine. (Optional, stamp a flower to the front left of your envelope.)

     5.    Fold one side of your card in and then adhere the strip to the two ends. (The width of the strip can be whatever size you like but the length should be 5 ½”.)

     6.   Adhere your flowers to the two outer segments.  They will overlap covering the center but that’s okay.  Just be careful not to use adhesive on the part that will be overlapping otherwise, it will adhere to the center of your card.
