WELCOME 2022

HAPPY NEW YEAR! We are back home.  We went to Denver, CO to spend Christmas and the holidays with my kids at my daughter’s new home.  As much as I hate snow, we were hoping for a white Christmas, but it only started snowing the day we left.  We cut our vacation short because Covid managed to run its way through our household.  I had it at the beginning of the month. After my isolation, we finally hit the road to Denver only for my husband to test positive two days into out vacation.  If you know my family that is a scary thing because he has no immune system to speak of so after talking with his oncologists assistant, we were able to get an appointment for him to get the antibody infusion but we had to drive 2 ½ hours on Christmas Eve, wait in an emergency room for a couple of hours (even though we had an appointment) but we made it back home in time to have pizza dinner and open matching Christmas pajamas, and read The Night Before Christmas . Then two of my daughters got it next.  Then mybyoungest got it and her boyfriend the day after her and finally my son-in-law got it the day we left.  We still enjoyed our Christmas and my birthday as much as we could.

We drove back on the 31st and were able to ring I the New Year standing on our right foot  and eating 12 green grapes at midnight for prosperity every month of the new year.

Now I must prepare my heart to say goodbye to my daughter as she accepted a travel nursing job and will be leaving  to Nashville, TN taking her dog with her.  My youngest  is here and she too will be leaving so for the first time in 29 years, I am going to be an empty-nester.  I’ve already been crying every day as I realize that none of my kids will be with me for different things that I am accustomed to having them here for.  Half of the house will be empty so when you see me if I seem blue, I am but I will move on with Gods help.  Because, "I can do all things because He gives me strength" ~ Philippians 4:13

With that being said I am wishing you all a WONDERFUL2022!  I hope to see you at workshops.  Check out my Class schedule.
