HAPPY EASTER, HAPPY SPRING

HAPPY EASTER, HAPPY SPRING!

With Easter just around the corner I wanted to make an Easter card for my guests. I cheated and used my Cricut to cut out my Easter eggs but otherwise it's all Stampin' Up!

Directions:

     1.    Run the white cardstock (5 ¼” x 4”) through the embossing machine in the Tasteful Textiles embossing folder.  Then stamp a couple of the tiny flowers randomly on this in Crushed Curry and Melon Mambo.

     2.   Adhere to the card front.

     3.   Use the Banner Punch to punch out one end on both the Mambo and Daffodil cardstock.

     4.   Stamp the sentiment in Basic Gray on the yellow strip. (closest to the banner side).

     5.    Adhere the daffodil banner to the Mambo banner.

     6.   Adhere this to the card front. (lower part.)

     7.   Using the sponges and the Mambo, Curry, and Bermuda Bay inks, sponge your Easter eggs. (I used my Cricut to cut out my eggs.) Adhere these slightly overlapping the banners on the card front making sure not to cover the sentiment. (Optional: While sponging, sponge the flap on your envelope to coordinate.)

     8.   Using the Forever Flourishing Dies and the embossing machine, die cut out leaves in Granny Apple Green.  Adhere below your eggs.

     9.   Using the Perennial Dies and the embossing machine, die cut a couple of flowers in Mambo and/or Daffodil cardstock.  Randomly adhere to your card.  Embellish with rhinestone jewels in the middle of your flowers.
