MERRY CHRISTMAS SUNBURST CARD

This week you get an extra card. With Christmas just around the corner I wanted to share a card you could use right away.  I really had a hard time getting this to work the first time but then as I searched around the internet, I figured out what I was doing wrong.  I hope my directions are clear.  Have FUN and MERRY CHRISTMAS!.

Merry Christmas Sunburst

INSTRUCTIONS:

     1.    Cut 4 (1 ½” x 6”) strips of coordinating DSP. Then cut these diagonally corner to corner.

     2.    Put a small dot on the middle of the right side of the white cardstock. All points will come together here.

     3.   Arrange your triangles on the white cardstock leaving a bit of space between each piece.  You will cut off the excess piece to piece in the last spaces. When finished, trim the DSP so it is the same size as your white cardstock.

     4.   Die cut a stitched circle in white and then one in Shaded Spruce (one size larger).  Stamp the sentiment in the white circle.

     5.    Adhere the stamped circle on the Shaded Spruce. Then, adhere this on the right side where the pieces of DSP converge, leaving a bit over the edge.  Trim this right edge of the circle to match the edge of the white cardstock.

     6.   Adhere to card front.

     7.   Adhere bow.

     8.   Stamp on the second piece of white cardstock the little leaves in Shaded Spruce.

     9.   Stamp envelope to coordinate. (optional)
