This month I tried to think of a couple of masculine birthday cards. Obviously, they aren’t restricted to men or birthdays for that matter but there are so many floral and frilly cards out there I wanted to think different. Here is my first card this month. I hope you like it.

MOUNTAIN AIR BIRTHDAY
DIRECTIONS:
1. Using the mountain die placed at the bottom of your soft suede cardstock cut out the mountain.
2. Repeat #1 using the piece of Crumb Cake cardstock. Adhere the crumb cake on the soft suede leaving a bit of the soft suede showing both on top as well as in mountain. Set aside.
3. Using the two tree dies, cut one out in Old Olive and One in Mossy Meadow. (run it in and back.) Using the take your pick tool, pop out all the small piece that stay behind. Set aside.
4. Using the rectangle dies, cut out two rectangles: larger one in Mossy Meadow and next size down in the Crumb Cake. Stamp the sentiment on the Crumb Cake Rectangle in Crumb Cake.
5. Adhere the mossy meadow rectangle on the Mountain pieces, top right-hand corner. Wrap piece of ribbon around and adhere on the back. (I use Mini glue dots)
6. Using dimensionals, adhere the sentiment over the ribbon on the mossy cardstock.
7. About ½” up from the bottom front of your card base, stamp the Mountains in Crumb Cake.
8. Stamp other sentiment inside also suing Crumb Cake.
9. You will be adhering the silhouette of the mountains to the card using dimensionals, so it gives the stamped image some dimension.
10. Adhere your two pine trees to the front left of the card.
11. Envelope
(optional) stamp a tree lower front corner of envelope in Old Olive (I suggest
stamping off so that it is not too dark) and mountains along flap in Crumb
Cake.
