HAPPY BIRTHDAY
DIRECTIONS:
1. Fold black (4
¼” x 5 ½”) card base at score lines (3 ¼”, and 8 ¾”).
2. Stamp inside
sentiment on Whisper White Cardstock (4” x 5 ¼”) and adhere inside.
3. On the other
Whisper White Cardstock cut out rectangle frame using framelits and die cutting
machine. ( Be sure to not waste paper as the rest of this paper is used to cut
out the cake.)
4. On remainder
of white cardstock, stamp the Birthday Cake and cut it out using cake die and
die cutting machine.
5. Using daubers
color the flowers and leaves on the cake and add faceted gem to center of
center flower (optional).
6. Using the
“negative” of the cake cut out, place it on top of cut out rectangle. Use dauber and Powder Pink Ink to shade the
shape of the cake on to the rectangle.
7. Adhere cut out
cake with Dimensionals over the shaded Pink.
8. Strip of black
cardstock,
a. Rub with the
embossing buddy,
b. Stamp Happy
Birthday sentiment with Versa mark,
c. Sprinkle with White
Emboss Powder putting excess back into the container.
d. Use heat tool
to set powder,
e. Fussy cut out
around the sentiment,
f. Adhere to the
front of the cake
9. Adhere the
Designer Series Paper to the two flaps on the front of the card.
10. Center the
white cardstock (with the cake on it) over the two flaps but ONLY adhere on the
left side flap.
11. Adhere the
last piece of Designer Series Paper to the flap of the envelope to embellish
it. (optional)
