Halloween Fright Night

You can't tell by the photo but the image on the front lifts and reveals the word EEK! and there is a spider crawling in.  Then for the inside, I used wobblers (not a SU product.  I purchased them on Amazon) so that when the card is opened, the word BOO! jiggles and I attached a spider to it as well.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

    HALLOWEEN FRIGHT NIGHT

HOW TO CREATE & ASSEMBLE: Stamp sentiment on (3 3/4” x 5”) piece of white cardstock.  Adhere it to one of the (4” x 5 1/4”) pieces of black cardstock then adhere to the inside of the card. Set it aside.

    1. On the other piece of black cardstock stamp some lightning rods in craft white.  Set aside.
    2. (Optional) While you have that stamp out, stamp the strip (2 1/4” 5 3/4”) of black cardstock with lightning and sentiment. Adhere this to the flap of your envelope and trim around..
    3. On the larger piece of white cardstock, you will be stamping the two sentiments, die cutting them out along with the spider web. Using the dauber, destress the edges.
    4. Die cut out 2 spiders out of glitter paper.  Set aside.
    5. Die cut the Petunia Pop frame. From the inside piece, die cut out the words “EEK” and “BOO”.
    6. Use the circle punch to punch out a circle out of Crushed Curry then using the dauber, ink it using black ink.
    7. Run the petunia ribbon through the to of the large sentiment and loop around the top of the frame. Adhere the frame down to the black card front with Liquid glue.  Use a glue dot to adhere the ribbon. Allow the sentiment to move freely.
    8. Adhere the moon and the spider web down.
    9. Adhere the word “EEK” under the big white sentiment.
    10. Use a mini (black) dimensional® to adhere one of the spiders.
    11. Use  dimensionals® to adhere the Happy Halloween sentiment.
    12. Use dimensionals® to adhere this panel to the front of your card.
    13. To finish off the inside, adhere the word “BOO” using the wobbler and add a spider.  Be careful because some of the adhesive will show through so tap on it with a scrap to get some of the stickiness off. otherwise it will stick your card closed.

The fun thing about this post is that you don't need much to create 4 cards.  One pice of 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper of your choice and you are on your way to 4 great cards.I'm not linking you to my store because the hope is that you can use what you have on hand.  I will post photos of two cards using the same pieces but everything else is different.  So, go and have fun with this. Thinking of You Fun-fold Card

     THINKING OF YOU

     Cased  Juli Baca

    HOW TO CREATE & ASSEMBLE:

    1. Line the piece of DSP along the front flap of the cardstock (short fold) but DO NOT adhere it yet.  Run the two pieces together through the die cut machine. Be sure to line up the direction of the DSP correctly so that when it is folded, it is in the correct direction.
    2. Once cut, adhere the DSP to the flap leaving a 1/8” border all around.
    3. Use the heart border die (or one of the others if you would prefer) to cut the inside flap of the card. (SAVE the little hearts)
    4. Fold and burnish the card on the score lines. Set aside.
    5. On the white cardstock, stamp your sentiment. Adhere it to the inside of your card.
    6. Stamp the sentiment on the front of your card.  (Be sure to keep it below the front flap.)
    7. For the belly band, center the heart die and run it through the die cut machine. (Save these hearts too.) Adhere the coordinating color strip of cardstock to the back.  Then either fold (or slightly round with your bone folder) the band around your card, making sure that the hearts are centered on the front.  Since it isn’t quite long enough to fit all the way around, use the small piece of coordinating cardstock to adhere the two ends together.  If you’d like, stamp a little heart on that piece before you adhere it to the two ends.
    8. Slide the belly band over the card.
    9. For the envelope, adhere the reserved hearts to your envelope.

    CELEBRATE YOUR BIRTHDAY

     CELEBRATE YOUR BIRTHDAY

    HOW TO CREATE & ASSEMBLE:

    1. Take the two strips of coordinating cardstock and adhere each one along the length of the white strip of cardstock so that approximately 1/8” shows as a “border” the length of the white cardstock.
    2. Lay this diagonally across the DSP.  The lower side on the left higher side on the right on the piece of DSP. Adhere it down and trim off excess. ( It looks like you have a banner going across. Your paper.)
    3. Adhere this to the card front. Set aside.
    4. On the square piece of white cardstock, you will be die cutting out the circle, and you will be stamping the birthday candles the flower, the leaves,  and the cake stand.
    5. The cake stand will be stamped in Versamark, then use the silver embossing powder, and heat with the heat tool.
    6. After stamping all of these images, die cut them out. Set aside for a moment.
    7. On the small piece of crumb cake cardstock stamp the “speckles” then die cut out the “shape” of the cake and die cut out the frosting & strips for the cake in early espresso.
    8. Create the cake on the circle die. Lay it on your card where you would like to position it so that you leave enough space  to stamp the sentiment.
    9. Adhere the circle with the birthday cake to the front using Dimensionals®
    10. Tie and attach a bow to the front of your card.  I opted to attach it to the cake tray; you can place yours wherever you would like.
    11. On your remaining piece (4” x 5 1/4”) of white cardstock, stamp your sentiment then adhere it to the inside of your card.
    12. Adhere the small strip of DSP along the bottom of this white piece of paper.
    13. Adhere the (2 1/4”  x 6” ) strip of DSP to your envelope flap and trim off the excess.
