DAD, THANKS FOR BEING THE BEST

DAD, THANKS FOR BEING THE BEST

HOW TO CREATE & ASSEMBLE:

  1. Run three (2” x 3 1/2”) pieces of DSP through the Die machine with the corresponding die.
  2. Line the three pieces up on the (3 1/2” x 5 1/2”) strip of beige cardstock leaving a sliver of space between each.
  3. Wrap the ribbon around the length of the beige piece you just worked with, adhering the ribbon in the back.  (I added a strip of Tear & Tape to keep the ribbon from sliding around but you can use Stampin’ Seal® or even liquid glue (this could get messy).
  4. On the small piece of beige cardstock, stamp sentiment then run through the die machine with the corresponding die.
  5. Run the Pecan cardstock through the machine with the letters D-A-D.
  6. Adhere the sentiment on the card front over the ribbon with Dimensionals® and then just to the left of the sentiment, adhere the letters.
  7. Embellish with some gems.
  8. Adhere a strip of coordinating DSP on the envelope flap and trim down.
  9. There you have it!

Belated Birthday Card

This is a quick and super easy card to make!  Make it with any color card stock and coordinating Designer Series Paper or for that matter if you don't have DSP, use different colors of card stock, or card stock that you have stamped to create your own personal DSP.  No die cut machine needed just card stock, adhesives and a stamp with the sentiment of choice. :0)

BELATED BIRTHDAY CARD

  1. Stamp sentiment on the (1 3/4” x 3”) piece of white cardstock. Adhere it to the (3 1/8” x 1 7/8”) piece of navy cardstock. Set aside.
  2. Adhere one of the (4” x 5 1/4”) pieces of white cardstock to your card front.
  3. Adhere the thinner strip (1” x 5 1/4”) of DSP horizontally across the bottom, about half an inch form the bottom.
  4. Adhere the other piece of DSP” (1 1/2” x 4”) vertically on the cad front about half an inch from the left edge of the white cardstock.

Sometimes the Simplest Things. . .

So this month I featured stamps that are all being retired.  If you like them you had better go check out the "LAST CHANCE" section on my website to shop for them before they are gone.  The Seaside Wishes Bundle is one I am NOT willing to part with.  I absolutely love it!

AGING FINE LIKE CHEESE & WINE

I didn't include the colors of the stampin' blends used allowing for your own creative artistry to come through.  Also, the ribbon used was retired a while back. Use any ribbon you have on hand.
