Just A Note

 JUST A NOTE

HOW TO CREATE & ASSEMBLE:

  1. Fold and burnish your card base (4 1/4” x 11” scored @ 5 1/2”)
  2. Run one of your (3 3/4” x 5 1/4”) pieces of white cardstock through in the Pressed Flowers embossing folder and the other one(4 1/4” x 5 1/2”) with the Textured Notes Die.
  3. Adhere the embossed piece to your card front. Adhere the other one on the inside. Set aside.
  4. Take your 3 (1” x 4 1/4”) strips of DSP and adhere them on to the (3 3/8’ x 4 1/2”) piece of Petunia Pop cardstock leaving space between each piece and border all the way around.  When you do this, make sure you have the pieces in the correct order.
  5. Take your strip of ribbon and wrap it around the lower portion of this piece adhering it in the back.  I opted to use Tear & Tape adhesive on the back of the ribbon to adhere it down on the front as well.  This is your personal preference.
  6. On white card stock, die cut out your circle then stamp your sentiment on the inside of the circle.  Adhere this centered over the ribbon on the piece you just completed in step 5.
  7. Adhere this to your card front.
  8. Embellish with a couple of gems.
  9. On white cardstock, stamp your flowers and stems. Then die cut them out. My personal preference is to stamp the “inside” of the flowers first then go over the top with the detailed part.  For the Petunia Pop floral, I stamped off first before stamping so the insides would be a little lighter the I stamped the detailed portion using the full strength of the ink.  For the “grayish” floral, I stamped the inside using Cloud Cover and then I used Secret Sea for the detailed portion.
  10. Die cut the pieces out and then adhere them to the inside of your card.  (You Can also stamp the flowers directly to the inside but I liked this better.
  11. Optional: Adhere the strip of DSP to the envelope flap and trim around.

Cheers To You Gatefold

Sorry, I can't figure out how to include my graphic.  Hopefully the directions are clear enough to figure this out.

Also the card I cased had a belly band but with the sentiment and the embellishments on the belly band, when you slip it off, your cards just paper so I tried it a little differently.  I hope you like it.

 Cheers To You

Cased Mary Fish

HOW TO CREATE & ASSEMBLE:

  1. Card base is 5 1/2” x 11” scored at 3 3/8” and 7 5/8”. On the 5 1/2” side of the card, mark a dot at the 1” coming down  from the top.  Draw a lie from this dot to the top of the score line on each side and cut. See the graphic.
  2. Now on the bottom on the11” side go in 1” from each side and mark a dot.  Draw a line from that dot up to the sides where you just cut from.  Cut these piece off.
  3. FOLD THESE TOW FLAPS IN STO THE CENTER AND BURNISH. THE ONE ON THE RIGHT SIDE WILL GO UNDER THE ONE ON THE LEFT.
  4. Adhere your piece of blACKBERRY cardstock (3 3/8” X 5 1/2”) on the right side flap then trim off the excess.
  5. Do the same on the left flap just using the DSP.
  6. Die cut out a lemonade glass with the colored piece of card stock then run through the machine again with the other die to give the glass some “texture”
  7. On your strip (1” x 3 1/2”) of white card stock, punch out (or cut if you don’t have a punch) the banner end then stamp the sentiment.
  8. On scraps of white, stamp your slice of lemon and your strawberry.  Color them in with the stampin’ Blends then die cut them out and prepare you beverage garnish.
  9. Take the (3/4” x 4 1/4”) strip of DSP and adhere it on the left flap .
  10. Now adhere the sentiment on this strip and add your garnished beverage top of this.
  11. Optional: adhere DSP to the flap of your envelope to coordinate.

I used the Lost Lagoon ink but you could add any color you want to just add a subtle pop to your card. Then just pick a ribbon that coordinates with it.
