Planted Paradise Recovery Card

 SPEEDY RECOVERY

My daughter was in town and she created this card for June's card class.  I love having her home because she likes creating cards with me.

This card is actually very easy to do however since there are no dies with this stamp set, you do have to "fussy" cut out all of the shapes.  That is the only time consuming part of making the card.  The two tones on the card and envelope are made by stamping once and then stamping again without re-inking your stamp.

HOW TO CREATE AND ASSEMBLE:

  1. Stamp on the (4 1/2” x 3 1/4”) piece of  pecan cardstock using the pecan ink to create a pattern design on the paper. Optional: do the same on the flap of your envelope to coordinate.
  2. Adhere the (2 3/4” x 5”) piece of vanilla cardstock to your card front.
  3. Adhere the pecan piece that you created on top of the vanilla piece.
  4. Stamp the sentiment on the (1” x 3 1/2”) piece of Vanilla cardstock then adhere this to your card front.
  5. On the scraps of vanilla cardstock, stamp the pot and the different leaves .  "Fussy cut" them out to create a bouquet of leaves in the pot. Arrange the leaves adhering them with the liquid glue.  Adhere the pot with dimensionals.
  6. Adhere the (4” x 5 1/4”) piece of vanilla cardstock on the inside of your card. Stamp a little leaf arrangement or additional sentiment of your choice.
  7. Adhere the dots on the flower pot.

Attention Shoppers Birthday Card

This is a fun card to make because you can add whatever you would like into your shopping cart.  You can pile up the gift bags or hang one from the side or fill it up with several bottles of wine. . . the possibilities are endless.  On my supple list, I did not include the Stampin' Blends because that would make my list HUGE.  Just use whatever colors you have on hand.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHOPPING CART

HOW TO CREATE & ASSEMBLE:

  1. Take the (3 7/8” x 5 1/8”) piece of white cardstock and run it through the embossing machine in the embossing folder. Adhere it to the (4” x 5 1/4”) piece of Peach Pie cardstock.
  2. Adhere this to the (4 1/8” x 5 3/8”) piece of Calypso Coral Cardstock.
  3. Adhere this to your card front.
  4. Adhere the adhesive sheet to the back of your silver foil. Run the piece of silver foil cardstock through the die cut machine with the shopping cart dies.  Set aside.
  5. On the larger piece of white cardstock, stamp the images of the items to place in the cart (and the little plant). Color these items in with the Stampin’ Blends, then die cut them all out with their corresponding dies and arrange them in the cart and adhere them all on the card front in the shopping cart.
  6. Punch a tiny hole on the left of the birthday banner, run the linen thread through the hole, tie a bow and attach to the flower bouquet.  You could also just tie your bow and attach it with a mini glue dot to the front.  That's a much easier thing to do.
  7. Adhere gems on flowers ( I used some retired gems but I wanted to add a little bling to the flowers.  that is why I also did not include them on my supply list.)
  8. Optional: To have envelope coordinate, run the flap through the emboss machine in the same embossing folder as you used on the card front.
